The international academic centre Vector prepares students for university entrance exams and runs courses for foreign students who wish to immerse themselves in Russian language and culture. The intensive program allows our visitors to attain the following goals:

1. To considerably raise their Russian language ability (from any level),
2. To prepare for Russian language examinations, and entrance exams for higher educational institutions in St Petersburg.
3. To learn as much as possible about the culture of Russia.
4. To study Russian language for business situations

How you study

Our students are put into small groups of 3 to 6 persons, in order to give sufficient attention to each individual student's needs. The programme also includes introductory lectures about culture, customs, and history of Russia. Russian as a foreign language is taught in our centre full-time, part-time, and via distance learning through Skype.

Our programmes

The training programmes are developed by methodologists and authors of Russian-language textbooks. Russian as a foreign language is offered on the following programmes:

1. Preparatory department — courses of 500 hours. Upon completion of the programme a certificate is awarded. Students of this programme also take the GRKI (ГРКИ) examination and, if chosen, final examinations in following fields:
   • Mathematics
   • Computer Science
   • Physics
2. Adaptation course of Russian as a foreign language for beginners - 20 hours
3. Beginners' course of Russian as a foreign language - 200 hours
4. Adjustment course of Russian as a foreign language
5. Business Russian - 72 hours
6. Russian language and culture - 20 hours
7. Preparation for GRKI - 72 hours
8. Russian language in the mass-media and modern press - 20 hours

Accommodation

Our company organises both training and accommodation of our students in our company's apartments and the hotels of our partners.

We can also organise meals for our students upon request.

Foreign visitors of our city spend their time not only on the study of Russian language, but also on a cultural program which includes the sights of St Petersburg and live dialogue in Russian language during meetings in educational institutions and clubs of St Petersburg.
